M&E Quantity Surveyor

Job Responsibilities

· Responsible for the full suite of M&E Quantity Surveyor duties from:

o Tender to pre-contract

o Post contract administration duties.

· Handle the tendering process such as

o Measurement

o Sourcing and selecting of subcon quotation

o Preparing bills of quantities

o Technical data

o Unit rates particularly for M&E disciplines.

· Carry out the necessary preparation and arrangement for tender submission

· Preparation of progress claims, variation orders, verifying subcontractor / suppliers claims

· Liaise with Consultants, Architects and relevant authorities in all construction related matters

· Work as part of a team to ensure that the requirements of the client are delivered

· Review, co-ordinate and generate subcontractor’s M&E shop drawings as and when necessary

· Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements

You are passionate, creative, an achiever, highly self-motivated and an independent individual who is detailed oriented, possess strong skills relevant to the scope of work; able to work in a team and independently, possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and ability to perform under tight schedule and pressure.

· Diploma/Degree in QS course, Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent.

· Minimum 1-2 years’ relevant experience in the related field is required for this position.

· Demonstrate proficiency and competency in a project QS function and can work independently.

· Able to converse with English and Chinese speaking clients, contractors and vendors to complete projects effectively.

· Local working experience needed.

Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm

Salary Range: S$2500-S$3500
