As a Trainee Engineer Intern, you are to provide technical assistance and support at the start execution of new manufacturing project. Engage and participation in risk mitigation studies related to new equipment or process implementation. Coordinate and effectively communicate / arrangement with external vendors and other functional departments within the Tuas site. In this role, a typical day will include:
· Active participation in process requirement, development, studies and test run for new manufacturing equipment related matters
· Work-closely and engage on technical documentation review and preparation for new equipment
· Proactive communication in project progress status, key issues, and other critical topics in a timely manner
· Strong involvement in commissioning, optimization of newly installed equipment via qualification (FAT/SAT) and validation processes
· Duly and accurately execute the assigned task according to the project master plan
· Ensure that quality and safety guidelines are met, adhere to Alcon standards
What You'll Bring To Alcon
· Undergraduates Diploma/Degree in Engineering
· Experience and participate in / contribute to process improvement (CI) activities across manufacturing platform
· Sound technical problem-solving skills in advanced manufacturing industry
