Job Title: Interior Designer
Location: Singapore
Your Role:
As an Interior Designer at By Design, you will be the primary consultant, directly interacting with homeowners to understand their requirements and guide them through the design process. You will attend site visits, consultations, and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
You are not required to do your own drawings—all technical drawings and 3D renders will be prepared by our in-house drafters and renderers.
Your focus will be on consulting with clients, applying your strong technical knowledge of layouts, renovation terms, and guidelines to ensure that all projects align with client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary consultant for homeowners, managing all face-to-face meetings and consultations.
- Apply strong technical knowledge of layouts, renovation terms, and guidelines in consultations.
- Review job sites to ensure designs meet the client’s requirements and industry standards.
- Follow up on project progress, ensuring customer satisfaction at all stages.
- Attend design consultations and site meetings.
- Provide feedback and explanations to contractors on the design intent and finishes.
Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in designing HDB, Condo, and Landed projects.
- Strong technical understanding of layouts, renovation guidelines, and terms.
- Strong skills in Autodesk AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop are a plus.
- Knowledge of Autodesk 3D Max, SketchUp, and Vray is a bonus.
- Highly motivated, confident, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with clients.
- Proficient in Google Suite products (Gmail, Google Meet, Google Calendar, etc.).
