We are looking for a ProServe Strategy & Operations Leader for APJ Geo leading our Business Operations (BOA) team to help drive long-term growth of the business.
Considered to be the COO to the VP of APJ and a member of the ProServe APJ leadership team, this role will develop, implement, and manage the business processes, systems, reports, and strategies that optimize business functions to meet organizational goals and initiatives while staying aligned with the Global BOA team. You will work with cross-functional teams to own and drive the management of business cadences. You will absorb and lead change through your direct team, as well as by earning trust and influencing others across the ProServe business.
The successful candidate must be able to roll up their sleeves and Dive Deep alongside their team. You will be passionate about your work, detail-oriented, analytical, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. You will have superb communication and customer-relationship skills, outstanding analytics insight, and be a passionate advocate for customers to other internal stakeholders. Active collaboration with AWS Sales Operations and other functional teams will be crucial to the effective execution of these responsibilities.
The successful candidate will help drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, have a track record of building high performing teams, strong project management skills, and be able to communicate complex analytical results, both written and verbally, in a clear and easy-to-understand way.
Key job responsibilities
- Build and lead a multi-functional, team spread across APJ.
- Create an inclusive and engaging work environment, balancing business needs with individual development opportunities.
- Being a key partner of the Director of APJ, supporting or representing them when needed.
- Working with senior leadership to define APJ’s strategy and run the management cadence for the business.
- Collaborating on the design, development, maintenance, and delivery/presentation of forecasting models, metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business decisions.
- Leading APJ-wide initiatives and be an active member of the NAMER leadership team.
- Apply an organization-wide leadership lens to translate strategic directions and priorities into short-term and long-term business plans that incorporate opportunities for scalable growth.
- Leading the initial proposal of annual goals, budgeting, and ongoing forecasting processes.
- Leading the development and provision of routine and ad-hoc analytics reports to senior management regarding Business Development initiatives, customer segment performance, and performance against goals. Ensure these reports contribute to business insights and decision-making, and minimize overall report burden.

Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 15+ years of experience working in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations or Business Operations within a Professional Services organization with {$100M+) in annual revenue
- 10+ years of experience leading and building high performing teams
- 5+ years’ experience setting a vision and communicating goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization
- Ability to be a hands-on leader that can quickly shift from long-term strategy to day-to-day tactical operational challenges and vice-versa.

- Advanced degree (MBA)
- Ability to operate within a constantly changing environment. Strong bias for action, including the ability to juggle multiple priorities and effectively deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguity and scale systems, processes and teams.
- Demonstrated experience proactively recognizing a challenge or problem and working with a variety of teams and data sources to diagnose the problem and recommend solutions
