A well-established entity is looking for an experienced accounting professional to join their finance team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment, where you will work with a group of subsidiaries to ensure effective and accurate financial reporting.
The Role
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing a comprehensive set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, for an assigned group of subsidiaries.
- Liaising with various stakeholders (internal and external) to manage financial matters effectively.
- Preparing result forecasts, annual budgets, and management reports while maintaining supporting schedules.
- Conducting detailed analysis on results reported by subsidiaries and operators, ensuring compliance with relevant financial policies and procedures.
- Coordinating with auditors and tax consultants to support annual tax filings and audits.
- Managing key reconciliations, property valuation, and any other group accounting tasks as assigned.
Position Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A degree in Accountancy, Finance, or an equivalent qualification (ACCA preferred).
- Relevant exprience in corporate accounting, with exposure to overseas accounts being advantageous.
- Practical experience in using accounting software such as SUN System and Oracle FCCS is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and group consolidation matters.
- Meticulousness, analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong Excel skills and effective communication abilities.
- Audit experience, which will be highly valued.
