Our client, a well-established listed organisation, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on accounting and treasury functions while supporting the organisation's growth.
The Role
As Finance Manager, you will oversee financial accounting operations, manage a portfolio of companies including overseas subsidiaries, and lead treasury activities such as banking relationships and cash flow management. You will prepare monthly consolidated financial statements for the portfolio companies, and yearly audited financial statements. You will also analyze subsidiary financial performance and collaborate with other departments to support financial planning, cost management, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial accounting processes, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow management, investments, and liquidity optimization.
- Liaise with auditors and stakeholders, managing audit requirements and ensuring robust financial controls.
- Develop and implement financial risk management strategies.
- Provide insightful analysis to senior management to support business decisions.
- Coordinate with various departments to enhance finance function efficiency.
Position Requirements:
- Solid experience in accounting, with exposure to treasury, financial reporting, and cash flow management. Candidates without direct treasury experience but with good exposure are encouraged to apply.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and principles.
- Proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with excellent analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required. Professional certifications such as CPA/CA are an advantage.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
