Job Description:
- Set up a big data biobank
- Collect, clean and ensure quality control of the data
- Provide ongoing maintenance of the big data biobank
- Develop policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and security across the database
- Develop backup recovery plans
- Communicate effectively with project teams to align on project scopes, expectations, progress timeline, and resource management
- Coordinate with external vendors to source for hardware (including storage) and licensing software
- Prepare reports for the supervisors as needed
- Manage setup and running cost and track costs to deliver projects on budget
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties and training relevant to the role
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a PhD in Medicine, Epidemiology, life sciences and any other relevant disciplines
- Experience in managing databases, project management or a similar role
- Problem solving skills and attention to details
- Strong communication abilities
