Group Accountant (European MNC/Shipping)
Exciting opportunity to join a European commercial ship management company based in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute month-end closing activities for management reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts.
- Manage and process payments.
- Conduct quarterly GST submissions.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and policies.
- Assist with various finance and accounting tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent in Finance and Accounting.
- 1–2 years of experience managing full or partial sets of accounts (shipping industry experience is good to have).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Must demonstrate initiative, multitasking abilities, independence, and a strong work ethic.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.
- Detail-oriented and accurate.
