- Design, implement, and optimize data warehouse structures to support analytical needs.
- Manage ETL processes to ensure accurate data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Data Governance:
Establish and enforce data governance policies and best practices to ensure data quality and compliance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define data ownership and stewardship roles.
Data Modeling:
Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Update data models in alignment with every release cycle and business requirements.
Process Improvement:
Analyze existing data processes and identify areas for optimization.
Create and maintain documentation for data workflows, standards, and processes.
Collaboration:
Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
Participate in cross-functional meetings to communicate updates and insights regarding data modelling and governance.
Quality Assurance:
Implement data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of data processes and models.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data warehousing, modelling, and governance.
- Proficiency in SQL and data modelling tools (e.g., Erwin, Oracle Data Modeler).
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
