Our client specializes in high-precision CNC machining and custom manufacturing. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Welding Process Engineer to be part of their Welding Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the East - easily accessible.
Duties of Welding Process Engineer:
- Design and create welding procedures, specifications, and jig fixtures.
- Perform TIG welding and have knowledge of orbital welding (preferred).
- Introduce and implement advanced welding technologies and techniques.
- Estimate costs, resources, and timelines for welding projects.
- Train welding personnel on techniques and safety protocols.
- Maintain comprehensive records of welding procedures, inspections, and certifications.
- Develop and uphold Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineer
- Possess Certified Welder Inspector (CWI) is an added advantage
- 3 years of relevant experience
