Objective:
Provide 24x7 support for all Implant Equipment Tools and Issues
Job Description:
- Possess knowledge on SPC, DOE, FDC, ECMS and all the statistical analysis tools to help optimizing equipment robustness..
- Able to coach junior engineers in performing hardware trouble-shooting for daily operations
- Establish Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans for all implant equipment and optimize PM for quality, cost, and productivity.
- Liaise with vendors to resolve equipment issues and improve equipment performance
- Initiate meeting with both process and manufacturing Engineers to ensure work is carried out efficiently to meet module objectives and analyze low yield and WAT issues
- Establish stock levels of essential spare parts and consumables to support equipment maintenance based on forecasted manufacturing volume. Liaise with vendors to minimize / eliminate over-stock or under-stock
- Manage new equipment start-up to support production, from facilities hookup, vendor startup, to acceptance of equipment for production
- Develop continuous improvement and Implement equipment improvement projects to improve equipment efficiency, cost reduction and reliability of equipment
- Forecast financial budgets for equipment expenditures. Setup tracking system to monitor expenditures
- Set targets, goals, and projects for the section to minimize wafer scrap, equipment cost per wafer, optimize equipment capability and utilization to meet operational needs
- Provide feedback / training to AEs and TAs on their troubleshooting skills, equipment knowledge, decision making, risks assessment
- Follow up on SPSR, MRB, 8D, TECN, and ECN documentation for closure of issues / events. Provide guidance to Junior Engineers
- Self audit and update specifications to meet TS16949 Quality Standard requirements
- Set Expectation and carry out performance appraisal for Technician or AE as instructed by Section Manager. Help the AE or Engineer on their career path development
- Provide long term solutions to address daily issues. Resolve department hardware chronicle issues.
- Create and maintain implant operation SOP and PM OI
- Develop continuous improvement to enhance equipment reliability and cost of ownership, Able to plan implant cost budget
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Microelectronics Engineering
- Min 3 years of relevant work experience in Diffusion Implant Equipment for Engineer and more for Senior and above
- An excellent team player with good interpersonal, communication and written skills
- Strong logical thinking capability and good analytical skill
- High level of integrity with strong leadership attributes to lead and coach a team
- Highly committed with good ownership and accountability
- Able to adapt in a fast pace environment and work under pressure
- Proficient in MS Office Applications
