Job Summary:
The position is accountable for proactively soliciting and handling sales opportunities. Ensures business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery. Performs in all day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives. Achieves personal sales goals assigned.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Work with DOSM and DORM in achieving the desired Market Penetration Index (MPI), Average Rate Index (ARI) and Revenue Generation Index (RGI) goal.
2. Building Successful Relationships that Generate Sales Opportunities (both internal and external)
3. Managing Sales Activities (including sales calls, site inspection, telemarketing, generating proposals, agreements and follow up action)
4. Using Knowledge of Market Trends and Target Customer Information to Maximize Revenue
5. Identify opportunities for value added services to increase sales profitability and anticipate client needs.
6. Providing exceptional customer service and gain loyal support / repeat business
7. Drive Marriott Bonvoy membership to achieve the overall hotel goal
8. Participate in any trade events and projects being assigned on ad-hoc basis
