Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction and structural steel projects.
- Analyze tender documents, specifications, and drawings to identify project requirements and evaluate risks and opportunities.
- Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and cost control activities to optimize project costs and maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with internal departments, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to obtain pricing, negotiate contracts, and resolve commercial issues.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flows, and provide regular reports and updates to project teams and stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings, site visits, and inspections to assess progress, identify variations, and ensure compliance with contract terms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field required;
- 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, tendering, and project management, preferably in the construction or structural steel industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation techniques
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
