Job Description: :
- Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of Workplace Safety & Health and Environment Management Systems at work sites.
- Conduct regular WSH inspections and follow-up actions to ensure safety compliance
- Ensure all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
- Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.
- Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipments and operations.
- Ensure all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented.
- Coordinate the development of health & safety policies, systems of work and procedures.
- Inspect project sites to ensure safety measure are being carried out at all times.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer, preferably with LTA or building & construction projects.
- Certifications in Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM.
- Possess good communication skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Must be responsible, organized, and self-initiated.
- Respect for deadlines, sense of urgency.
