Responsibilities
- Bringing-in sales by doing sales call, site inspection to build rapports with customers.
- Respond to sales inquiries on timely manner from potential clients and customers seeking meeting space, annual dinner, conference, ceremony, food and beverage services.
- Understand and be familiar with all product information of competitors, including key customers and their output, catering, conference related promotion information, and promptly feedback the information to the Director.
- Preparing proposals and contracts to potential clients
- Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and goals.
- Guiding sales team for daily sales activities.
- Preparing and presenting regular sales reports, forecasts and performance metrics to senior management
- Building business for the restaurant through direct and indirect sales techniques including all planning components of private and large party dining and community
Requirements and skills
- Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- Able to work during weekend and standby on public holiday
