Job Description
- Assist the Discipline team in the overall management of the students’ discipline, on a daily basis
- Assist the Discipline team to conduct house visits with school personnel and make follow-up calls to parents.
- Assist Operations Manager in manning and taking charge of the activities in the in-house detention centre, on a daily basis
- Patrol the school premises to ensure orderliness, on a daily basis
- Be involved in case management for students identified as at-risk
- Conduct investigations as part of case management and submit report
- Conduct spot-checks on students’ general neatness in apprearance like attire and hair
- Assist the Discipline team in maintaining student discipline during school functions and activities (eg. Speech Day, Sport Canival, Level Camps), whenever necessary
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Authority
Requirements
- Preferably 5 years of school experience in related areas
- Preferably with prior experience in managing discipline of secondary students
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to work well with staff and teachers on student matters
Working hours
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break
- Fridays: 7:00am to 3:30pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
