Housekeeping Executive

Work Location: North

Working hours: Monday - Friday, Alternate Saturday


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the client’s direct contractors (cleaning & waste), ensuring high cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the facility, and ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  • Conduct regular housekeeping tasks with the client’s direct Contractors for facilities inspection, ensure cleanliness and hygiene, related systems & maintenance services meet the standards for the client.
  • Check and ensure housekeeping staff are trained on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service.
  • Address housekeeping & recycling-related issues and concerns, take appropriate actions to resolve issues promptly/ provide solutions and support as needed.
  • Work with the Zone Managers on the routine inspection and gather feedback and inform the respective Contractors to follow up with works or inform the client where a work order is required.
  • Consolidate, review and submit reports to the client including Contractor’s performance according to respective contracts.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of recycling programs, and ensure proper disposal of waste materials adherence to recycling guidelines and environmental regulations.
  • Collect and analyse recycling data, preparing regular reports on recycling metrics and performance to support the client.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure good environmental practices are adhered to include but not limited to the adoption of environmentally friendly products.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure good waste management practices are adhered.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recycling processes and propose innovative solutions to increase recycling efficiency.


Requirements:

  • Diploma in relevant area of Estate Management, Hospitality Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to environmental sustainability and recycling initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain high cleanliness standards.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to recycling and waste disposal.
  • Excellent PC skills and fully competent in MS Office software.
  • Good writing, interpersonal and communication skills, service oriented and ability to work independently.
