Job Responsibilities:
- Audit Preparation and Planning:Assist in planning audits by understanding clients' business processes and risks.
Review financial documents, policies, and internal controls to prepare for audits.
- Conducting Audits:Execute audit tasks such as verifying financial transactions, assessing compliance with laws and accounting standards, and testing internal controls.
Collaborate with clients to gather relevant data, answer queries, and provide documentation.
- Documentation and Reporting:Prepare working papers and audit reports with detailed observations and recommendations.
Highlight discrepancies or potential areas for improvement in financial processes.
- Compliance and Risk Analysis:Ensure financial records comply with regulatory frameworks such as GAAP or IFRS.
Identify operational risks and inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Teamwork and Communication:
- Work closely with senior auditors and managers to meet project timelines.
- Communicate findings effectively to both internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Accounting and Tax services:Need to do accounting and tax services
- Know how to use accounting software such as Quickbook, Xero, SQL, ABSS and etc
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Educational Background: Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel). Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) is often required.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
- Certifications: Progress toward professional certifications like CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is often preferred.
- Experience: Internship experience in accounting or auditing is often advantageous, though many positions are open to fresh graduates.
