Founded in 2011, Empact is a leading social enterprise with a mission to build the capacity of social organisations (referred to as non-profit organisations and social enterprises) in Singapore and the region. Our aim for our capacity building efforts is to empower these social organisations to be empowered for greater impact.
Through our cross-sector collaboration with sector developers, government, grantmakers, corporates and volunteers, we bridge the capacity gap of the social sector by channeling talents, skills and resources to co-create innovative solutions to address the various needs of social organisations.
To date, Empact has impacted and empowered more than 2,000 social organisations in the region, with a contribution of savings amounting up to $9 million worth of professional services that have been rendered pro bono for the social sector.
In 2023, Empact won the President's Challenge Social Enterprise Champion of the Year award. In 2022, Empact won the President's Volunteerism & Philanthropy Awards City of Good (for Pro Bono School with our corporate partners) and was also recognised as a Champion of Good.
RESPONSIBILITIES
An Overview
We are looking for an Analyst, Programme Management, to support the external coordination and delivery of large-scale volunteering programmes, as well as support the internal management of our office. For this individual, this new entry-level role will be a great learning and development opportunity to experience how programmes are conducted in the social sector and gain exposure to a breadth of stakeholders - nonprofit organisations supporting various causes and government agencies, as well as to gain experience in office administration and management.

- Project / Events Experience: You naturally enjoy organising events - thinking through all the possible steps, breaking it down into actionable steps and seeing them come to life. You're meticulous about administration; you know that small details can have a big impact
- Resourceful: You're comfortable working independently and intuitively think of possible solutions when problems arise
- Stakeholder-oriented: You know that great things can only be achieved through partnership with others; you think through the interests of clients, partners and internal cross-functional team members when working with them
- IT-proficient: You're comfortable with Google Suite and basic data analysis on Excel. Bonus - experience with CRM, email or community management software
Your job role will cover:
- Programme Coordination: You'll support the Programme Manager and team along the project lifecycle to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Events Management: Support the end-to-end delivery of online (Zoom) and physical events - event setup, sending invites, tracking sign-ups, venue logistics, liaising with vendors, on-the-go problem solving etc.
- Data Analysis: Support the team with collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data e.g., post-event feedback scores.
- Stakeholder Management: Support the team by coordinating with a variety of stakeholders such as clients, partners and internal cross-functional team members.
- Communications: Support the team with mass email communications and/ or online community management.
- Office Administration: Support the organisation in managing the current office and/ or support the renovation and relocation to our new office space.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Events Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Communications or related fields.
- In-lieu of a Degree / Diploma, candidates with equivalent or significant work experience may be considered.
- Relevant experience in related areas like event management, office administration, communications etc will be an advantage.
- Demonstrated interest and / or experience in the social service sector, such as actively volunteering in the social service sector will be an advantage.
- Must possess strong administration skills, good proficiency in English, good interpersonal skills and communication skills
