The title holder will be part of a team that design, test and commission the electrical control systems for ACMV/HVAC systems in buildings. The candidate will work with other internal engineering teams to ensure that the control system meets overall project objectives and goals.
Specific job responsibilities:
- Assist in electrical design and control drafting for tenders and projects
- Implement automation system controls for building M&E system (ACMV) using PLC based hardware and software to connect various automation components as per system design
- Work closely with internal teams such as mechanical design and project engineers to troubleshoot and develop effective solutions to solve engineering problems
- Review specifications and standard practices for projects and tenders
- Maintain ACMV automation control systems to ensure optimal operating conditions through equipment lifespan
To excel in this job, the candidate will require a high level of organization, creativity, attention to detail, and engineering knowledge to successfully perform design, engineering, and field start up tasks for System Integration in Electrical Controls for building M&E systems.
Minimum job requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical/Controls/Electronics Engineering
- Knowledge in PLC and/or Electric Circuit Design
- Relevant experience/ experience in ACMV design/controls is a plus
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to prioritize and work independently to meet project timelines
