About Us

Green Link Digital Bank is Singapore's inaugural wholesale digital bank focusing on supply chain finance, mainly serving MSMEs and aiming to help MSMEs grow and improve digitization.

We are looking for a Junior Compliance Officer to join our Legal and Compliance Department. Fresh graduates who are keen to start their career in the compliance field are welcomed to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement branch-wide framework to manage AML/CFT risks.
  • Acting as SME on advising the bank on all applicable sanction requirements (MAS, UN, OFAC, EU, UK HM).
  • Develop and maintain oversight of implementation and administration of this Anti Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Policy and Procedures (“AMLPP”).
  • Promoting compliance with MAS Notice 626 and the Guidelines to MAS Notice 626, as well as MAS Regulations issued under section 27A of the MAS Act and taking overall charge of all AML/CFT matters within the organisation.
  • Overseeing to improve AML/CFT training program and providing advisory to business units in developing AML/CFT training plan, courses, and materials.
  • Monitoring and update the bank’s screening lists from vendor to ensure it remains complete and accurate.
  • Maintain and update local internal blacklist in the AML System, overseeing that the Bank has adequate arrangements to perform AML screening of its customer database.
  • Review the effectiveness of the AML System to be in line with the relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting regularly on key AML/CFT risk management and control issues, and any necessary remedial actions, arising from audit, inspection, and compliance reviews to AMLC.
  • To keep track of new and changes in local laws, regulations, and requirements, understand its applicability and impact to the bank, and thereafter conduct gap analysis, provide advisory and guidance to relevant departments of the regulatory changes.
  • To provide KYC onboarding and transactions monitoring coverage on a secondary basis.

Requirements

  • Possess a university degree in business/finance/banking or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of relevant AML and sanctions advisory experience in a regulated bank or FI. Fresh graduates are welcomed too.
  • Meticulous, experience with regulatory gap analysis is a plus.
  • Exposure to MAS regulations and banking products and services would be advantageous.
  • Keen interest in digital assets and developments in the DPT space.
  • Willing to learn.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive, independent, and resourceful.
  • Embodies teamwork.
