Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Team Management:Assist the Sales Manager in supervising the sales team, ensuring they meet individual and team targets.
Assign tasks, monitor sales performance, and offer guidance to team members.
Conduct regular training sessions and provide mentorship to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Sales Strategy & Planning:Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies to reach business objectives.
Collaborate with the Sales Manager to set monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Analyze market trends and customer behavior to adjust sales strategies as needed.
- Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Handle escalated customer issues or complaints and resolve them efficiently.
Ensure excellent customer service is provided throughout the sales process.
- Sales Operations:Oversee daily operations of the sales department, including order processing, inventory monitoring, and customer follow-ups.
Ensure that sales processes and procedures are in place and followed.
Monitor stock levels and collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure product availability.
- Reporting & Analysis:Prepare sales reports and present them to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies.
- Collaboration & Coordination:Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align sales efforts with overall company goals.
Collaborate on promotional campaigns, pricing strategies, and product launches.
Attend meetings and contribute to the development of company-wide initiatives.
- Business Development:Identify new business opportunities, potential markets, and clients.
Attend networking events, industry conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and generate leads.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Skills:Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Solid understanding of sales processes and CRM software.
Analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends.
Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings or business development activities.
- Must be flexible in working hours, including evenings and weekends, based on sales activities.
