Location: Bukom Island
Salary: $3500 to $4500
To manage and oversee civil maintenance activities related to refinery infrastructure, ensuring the integrity, safety, and functionality of all civil assets, including buildings, roads, shorelines, and other infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance, inspection, and repair of civil and building assets, roads, and shoreline infrastructure to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Perform regular inspections and assessments of structural conditions, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and identifying necessary repairs.
- Manage contractors for civil works, ensuring quality control and timely delivery of projects.
- Provide technical advice and solutions related to civil maintenance issues, identifying cost-effective methods for repair and improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, including mechanical, electrical, and project teams, to ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities.
- Oversee refurbishment and rehabilitation projects for aging infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with refinery safety and environmental protocols during civil works.
- Support in capital projects for infrastructure development and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in civil engineering.
- Strong understanding of civil maintenance principles and best practices, especially in heavy industrial environments.
- Experience in managing infrastructure, roads, and shoreline maintenance.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
