About the Job
The Program Department plays one of the most critical roles in Cyrus. Every new project in Cyrus begins with you leading the project team and laying the groundwork to ensure a smooth and successful completion. Regardless of technical challenges or scheduling conflicts, you will lead, guide, and inspire your project team members, managing every facet of the project's development and collaborating with your team to resolve problems while staying focused on your commitments to the customers.
Your key responsibilities are as follows:
· Lead and co-lead with the Program Manager in New Product Introduction (NPI) project, making sure it satisfies all requirements and specifications before moving it into mass production.
· Design project plan, execute and ensure that every task is completed on schedule and within the allocated budget.
· Study 3D product design and 2D drawing and collaborate internally with tool designer and engineering on design for manufacturing (DFM).
· Participate in tool trial, part evaluation, problem analysis and solving, as well as documentation preparation and issuance.
· Collaborate with internal project team members and customers on scheduling and technical issues, to achieve desired outcomes.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
· Diploma or equivalent in mechanical engineering/precision engineering.
· At least two years of working experience in related industry (fresh graduates will be considered).
· Knowledge with practical experience in the field of plastic injection and tool fabrication, or mechanical product design is an added advantage.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs.
· Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
· Great attention to detail and strong sense of urgency and ownership.
· Ability to evaluate a situation and make decision based on the facts and not by gut instinct and unproved assumption.
· Good collaboration skills to work as a team and across teams, to problem solve to achieve desired results.
