Overview
The Accounting Manager reports to the Director and is responsible to oversee all the company’s financial and accounting operations. Duties includes accounts receivable/payable, data entry/compilation, generating of accounting reports and other accounting tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing daily operations of accounting department, preparing and reviewing appropriate entry reconciliations and maintaining general ledger system, including ensuring accurate financial data inputs in system.
- Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues. Track progress of financial and accounting objectives.
- Establish accounting policies and procedures to align with company’s targets and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
- Generating of taxation / accounting reports.
- Bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Liaising with auditors in their queries during financial year reporting.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a BSc Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
- At least 2-3 years working experience in related field is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data, well organized, meticulous and an eye to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and effective at prioritizing and meeting tight deadlines at times.
- Processes problem-solving attitude and team management skills.
- Knowledge in Xero accounting software would be an added advantage.
