Financial Analyst (M&A Investment)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Deliver precise financial insights on the performance of asset companies within various industries, including the tire and property sectors.
2. Conduct specific company and broader industry research, monitor financial trends, and analyze data across asset companies for strategic benchmarking and decision-making.
3. Support the development and execution of investment strategies and mergers and acquisitions within the group.

Job Duties:

• Analyze and uphold financial data integrity across the group's asset companies.
• Keep abreast of industry and market trends to maintain up-to-date financial and benchmark data.
• Construct and refine financial models to support investment decisions and strategic planning.
• Identify trends, conduct business studies on past, future, and comparative performance.
• Access market data to provide current valuation metrics.
• Prepare analytical reports as required.
• Assist with structuring transactions, negotiations, and preparation and review of transaction documents.
• Guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making within the group.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance with CPA certification.
• MBA holder preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and ability to extract data from financial data service providers.
• Proven knowledge of financial forecasting, corporate finance, and information analysis.
• Advanced computer proficiency in financial forecasting, modeling, and reporting.
• Independent, initiative, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
• Minimum 3 years of experience from Venture Capital, Private Equity, Investment Banking, Securities Equity Analysis, or M&A/DD consulting.
• Develop investment due diligence reports.
• Prepare analytical reports as required.
• Assist with structuring transactions, negotiations, and preparation and review of transaction documents.
• Act generally as required and guide and influence long-term and strategic decision making within the group.
