About our client: Our client is a leading engineering services company specializing in marine, offshore, and waste management services.
Work Location: Penjuru (West)
Working days: 5.5 days (Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, Saturday 8am to 12pm)
About the role:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through research, networking, and cold calling.
- Generate sales leads and build relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the waste management industry and its products and services.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure customer service excellence through timely resolution of customer issues.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events to network and generate leads.
About you:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in waste management sales or related field (chemical / oil & gas / refineries)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of the waste management industry and its products and services.
- Possesses own vehicle.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
