Job Description:
- Install, configure, and upgrade Microsoft SQL Server/MySQL/Oracle server software in Windows/Linux environments.
- Proactively monitor database performance and implement improvement measures.
- Manage database changes and provide status reports.
- Review database design for new projects.
- Implement and maintain database security (user roles, privileges, etc.).
- Respond to incidents and provide resolution for escalated issues.
- Handle general troubleshooting and advise development teams.
- Work as part of a team and provide 24/7 systems support.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SQL Server (2012-2017) & Oracle (11g, 12c).
- Experience troubleshooting database performance issues.
- Familiarity with backups, recovery, indexing, and patching.
- Understanding of Linux/Windows servers and security delegation.
- Knowledge of Cloud RDS technologies is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
