Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with developers to come up with the ideal deployment targets
- Harden and secure servers
- Automate disaster responses and do proper escalation
- Automate deployments
- Setup auto-scaling to be able to respond to peak hours and spikes
- Cost-saving
- Develop and deploy application and security components for new lab projects using shared web hosting, virtualized cloud computing providers, and collocated servers
Job Requirements
- Min 8 years’ experience in AWS.
- Experienced in one of the popular configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef or Puppet)
- Experienced in Terraform, Vagrant, Docker or Kubernetes is a plus
- Experienced in any monitoring tools (Graphite, Prometheus, Grafana, WatchDog, NewRelic, Pingdom)
- Uses Git for code management and versioning
