About the role:
The Account Manager/Business Development role will be responsible for managing relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving growth through strategic partnerships. This position requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach to sales, and the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Source for new clients
- Lead management including action plans and number of appointments to be made
- Participate in Sales Events
Establish and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients - Responsible for business growth with existing clients
- Re-establish relationships with dormant clients
- Responsible for accounts receivables with clients
- Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
- Assist in events organizing
- Responsible for Web Portal
- Assist in preparation for cost breakdown
- Other duties assigned
- External inter-relations with vendor partners and clients
- Internal inter-relations with marketing, operations and logistics teams
Requirements:
- Diploma in Retail, Business Administration, Marketing, or related disciplines
- 3-5 years of relevant sales experience in the FMCG industry
- Detail-oriented with strong business sense, aptitude, and passion for bespoke products
- Good command of written and spoken English and a 2nd language will be advantageous.
Additional information:
- Contract 12 months (renewable/convertible based on performance)
- Salary Package includes BASIC + Commissions + Performance Bonus
- Car allowance - Must have own car to qualify
- 5 Day work week from Mon – Fri
- Work hours: 9am – 6pm
- Work from Office – Location Tai Seng
- Expected travel (not often) to Malaysia - Head Office
