The company is over 4 decades old and is an established international reinsurance broking company with a clientele base in over twenty countries.


As a reinsurance specialist, the company works on behalf of insurance companies and non-traditional entities (such as Captives) to facilitate the placement of Treaty and Facultative (including a full range of Financial and Casualty classes such as Directors & Officers Liability, E&O, Bankers Blanket Bond, Fidelity/Crime/Computer Crime, General/Commercial Liability, Product Liability, and Medical Malpractice) reinsurance program.


We have a dedicated team of treaty and facultative reinsurance professionals to handle the region's full range of business.


We are looking for full-time candidates to join our growing Facultative Broking regional team, based in Singapore. Candidate(s) with related working experience is a plus point.


Responsibilities:


One middle to senior level role to support the growing business within Financial and Casualty line business such as D&O, PI, E&O, Crime, CGL, and Product Liability.


Candidate(s) with related qualifications and working experience is an advantage but not a must.


You will be responsible for all aspects of reinsurance placements.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in business development processes such as desk research for identifying specific prospective clients all over Asia region and overseas travel, if required.
  • Preparation of risk presentation, quotation & placement slips, cover notes, and contracts.
  • Negotiate with underwriters and servicing of reinsurance accounts and claims.
  • Respond to client queries and concerns, resolving issues promptly.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with reinsurers, clients, and colleagues.
  • Perform other job-related duties assigned.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Master/Bachelor’s Degree, or any Reinsurance/Insurance qualification.
  • Past work experience: Client relationship or negotiation-related work experience within the financial services reinsurance or insurance industry is desired.
  • The job requires good verbal and written communication skills and a pleasant personality. Candidate with knowledge of other foreign language(s) is a plus point.
  • With good interpersonal skills, analytical, meticulous, able to multi-task, and a team player
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
