Job Title - Assistant Store Manager
Job Role Description
The Assistant Store Manager oversees the operations of store in assigned area. Together with the Retail Operation Manager, Area Manager and Store Managers, he/she is responsible for managing the area's operational and service excellence plans with the end objective of optimization to achieve set sales targets. He/she will also action on any sales campaigns and customer sales leads. In additional, he/she will oversee the fulfillment of the area’s sales orders to ensure seamless customer experience across all in-store level channels.

- Work closely with HQ teams and Stakeholders.
- Maintain smooth operations & standard of work.
- Collaborate & provide feedback to Management.
- Ensure both food hygiene standards and work safety are met.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and licensing requirements pertaining to the sale and promotion of alcoholic beverages, copy of latest licenses are put up in-store and stay updated on industry regulations.
- Working with retail team to execute planned sales activates for the assigned stores.
- Share knowledge across training.
- Monitor and manage financial aspects.
- Monitor SOH by store, inventory movements and ensuring adequate levels of stock and in-demand skus to be represented in all stores represented in assigned area.
- Manage and maintain the SOH inventory, financial or other assets of property of the company to reduce & eliminate any losses or wastage.
- Ensuring shelves, displays and wine racks are regularly dusted, organized and visually appealing with proper labeling.
- Create visually appealing wine displays, highlighting featured wines, promotions and tasting notes.
- Perform check of the store’s cleanliness, count and reconcile cash register, review, and update any necessary reports or documentation.
- Upsell, cross-sell related products and inform & promote in-house promotions, members program and upcoming events to customer.
- Ensure quality customer service experience is provided across the stores, enquiries are handled quickly and effectively.
- Assist the team and address customer issues efficiently.
- Setting a positive example, demonstrating integrity, and inspiring your team members to perform at their best.
- Offer guidance, support and knowledge sharing to team members by conducting regular check-ins with your team members to assess customer service performance, provide feedback, and address any challenges they may be facing.
- Enhance communication skills and create a positive and productive communication environment within the team, leading to better understanding, collaboration, and overall success in the store.
- Any other operational duties assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- Prior 3 experience in wine sales is preferred or experience in F&B and/or wine bar.
- Passion in wines
- WSET certified & food and hygiene certificate will be an added advantage.
