We are looking for a Head Of Operations to assist with the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing the team to ensure project accuracy and quality.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the operational project management, including projects’ deliverables
- Develop, implement and analyze budgets
- Review and assess operational effectiveness and implement changes to drive business performance
- Build strong collaborative relationships with relevant stakeholders – suppliers, customers and government authorities
- Play a key role in the conceptual development of the various construction projects and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation
- Plan, lead and monitor progress and performance against the project plan whilst managing the day-to-day operational aspects of projects
- Maintain close collaboration with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers and all stakeholders to minimize errors in the process to achieve smooth completion of projects
- Conduct project briefing, kick start meeting and responsible for periodic progress reports
- Prepare cost estimates and monitor progress claim, interim certificate and issue payment response
- Identify potential or actual causes of delay and take preventive or remedial actions
- Monitor submissions and clearances from relevant authorities
- Monitoring and following up on construction progress and progress claims
- Prepare and review of construction drawings and shop drawings, technical proposals, and method statements
- Experience project management experience – coordination, project planning, customer relationship management
- Ad hoc assignments
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of working experience
- Knowledgeable in project management processes for all stages of project
- Proficient in MS Project and MS Office
- Passion in people and project management
- Self motivated and able to work under pressure
- Excellent decision making and problem solving skills
- Good written and communication skills
