Responsible for origin and destination effective transport and freight based on negotiated incoterms where/when applicable.
Develop & Manage Procurement Category:
- Execute category strategies to meet business objectives, e.g., best cost, quality, service, resilience. Ensure category strategy aligns with existing and future needs across AMOS Group
- Responsible of ‘Plan-to-Source-to-Pay’ management life cycle; sourcing; selection; contract management and suppliers’ performance audit & control of Category.
Develop & Manage Sourcing, Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Propose sourcing strategies to support organization’s demands. Keep abreast of market trends and developments and adjust sourcing strategies.
- Develop alternative supplies and solutions. Maintain a comprehensive sourcing network and constantly strive to find new and better products, sources of supply and better ways of meeting the company’s requirements.
- Negotiate commercial terms and conditions and manage suppliers’ relationships to obtain maximum value for the company's investment. Actively seek to consolidate demand, optimize category procurement, and deploy best practices.
- Review existing contracts and understand business requirements; formulate guidelines and design standard supplier contract protocols.
- Ensure supplier e-catalogues are maintained on a timely basis and prices are available for purchase.
- Perform risk assessment and risk mitigation recommendations.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Use data analytics tools to analyze spending data, identify trends, and measure cost savings. Monitor and track cost savings, report progress and communicate results to management.
Perform & Manage Vendor/Supplier Selection and Evaluation Processes:
- Perform vendor selection and evaluation. Develop formal bidding processes to facilitate vendor management.
- Maintain long-term suppliers’ contracts pertaining to complex or high-value products and services to foster strategic partnerships.
Manage & Drive Category Operations:
- Engage key business stakeholders/partners. Adopt cross-functional collaboration working approach through clear understanding and appropriately challenged, and be aware of the function’s challenges, opportunities, and priorities.
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders/partners to lead category market intelligence; tenders; contract negotiation; develop negotiation approaches, fallback positions and acceptable terms and conditions through contract completion and identify key benchmarks to measure contractual arrangements.
- Support internal and external audit, quality and regulations compliance and due diligence requests as necessary. Ensure procurement activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
- Drive Category goals and performance to deliver according to key performance indicators. Verify components' adherence to technical specifications and quality upon delivery.
- Synchronizing and facilitating the flow of materials.
Manage & Drive IT Application, QHSSE and Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Drive and promote the measurement of using quality management knowledge to enhance quality standards.
- Lead, coach, support, and mentor a team of executives and administrative assistants.
- Maintains the 5S standard as stipulated by the Company for the support of Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
- Collaborate to ensure our collective Environment, Sustainability and Governance goals are met.
- Responsible for implementation of relevant improvement initiatives.
- Work with Master Data Management team for data hygiene.
Manage & Drive Human Capital Development:
- Lead co-worker competencies assessment to identify learning & development needs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by your manager from time-to-time.
