Position Overview
As a Production Assembler at Aprisium, you will be responsible for assembling components of our IoT-enabled water analyzers, ensuring that each product meets the company’s stringent quality standards. You will work on the assembly line following detailed instructions, using various tools and equipment to build products that play a critical role in real-time environmental monitoring. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble Products:Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures to assemble components of Aprisium’s IoT analyzers.
Assemble mechanical and electronic components, including circuit boards, sensors, wiring, and housings.
Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to perform tasks efficiently and safely.
- Quality Control:Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure they meet the company’s high standards of quality.
Report any defects, malfunctions, or issues to the production supervisor.
Participate in routine testing of assembled products to verify functionality and reliability.
- Process Improvement:Identify opportunities to improve assembly processes for efficiency and quality.
Provide feedback to engineers and supervisors to enhance product designs for easier assembly.
- Inventory and Materials Handling:Organize and maintain inventory of parts and components at the assembly workstation.
Ensure that all materials required for assembly are available and accounted for, and notify supervisors of any shortages.
- Collaboration:Work closely with other team members, supervisors, and engineers to ensure timely and accurate completion of production goals.
Assist with training new team members and cross-functional work as needed.
Key Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- 1+ years of experience in product assembly or a related field (experience with IoT devices or electronics is an advantage).
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work efficiently under minimal supervision.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods.
