Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join the Company in Singapore. The ideal candidate will possess strong networking knowledge and experience in managing and supporting a diverse firewall environment, including Juniper SRX, Palo Alto, and Fortinet firewalls. This role requires hands-on expertise in network configuration, security management, and troubleshooting within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, with a focus on firewalls (Juniper SRX, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
- Configure and maintain network security policies, VPNs, and firewall rules to ensure a secure and optimized network environment.
- Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and other infrastructure projects.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for network-related incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
- Perform regular network audits and vulnerability assessments to maintain a high level of security and compliance.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for reference and training purposes.
- Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and best practices to continuously improve the network environment.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- At least 3 years of experience in Network Engineer or a related field
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with strong knowledge of networking principles and protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Juniper SRX, Palo Alto, and Fortinet firewalls.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing network security devices, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
