Responsibilities:
- Feature Design and Implementation: Create and implement new features and functionalities, ensuring optimal website architecture and high availability.
- Service Interface Development: Design and code service interfaces for seamless integration between Drupal and external systems.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to conduct technical analyses of existing and new systems, providing tailored business solutions.
- Custom Module Development: Evaluate community solutions and develop custom Drupal modules as necessary.
- Team Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor junior team members on technologies, solutions, and best practices.
- Task Management: Assist in identifying tasks, estimating work efforts, and scheduling for development and maintenance activities.
- Performance Optimization: Contribute to code performance tuning and optimization efforts.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Test, support, and troubleshoot issues related to both intranet and internet sites.
Requirements
Core Skills:
- Drupal Expertise: Extensive experience with Drupal 8 and 9, including enterprise-level implementations.
- Module Configuration: Proficient in configuring Drupal modules and understanding Drupal architecture.
- Custom Development: Strong ability in custom module development using Drupal APIs.
- Prototyping: Proven experience in designing and architecting systems, including creating prototypes and proof of concepts.
- Theming: Expertise in developing Drupal 9 themes from scratch or using frameworks (Twig, JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap 4, CSS/SCSS/SASS).
- Integration: Experience in integrating open source and third-party applications into existing Drupal sites.
- PHP Knowledge: Strong knowledge of PHP, including PHP files and theme functions, as well as understanding the Drupal theme layer.
- Maintenance and Administration: Expertise in the maintenance and administration of Drupal modules and sites.
- Best Practices: Familiarity with Drupal best practices, caching methods, and deployment processes.
- Web Technologies: Deep understanding of HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript with a track record of building dynamic and responsive websites.
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
- Frontend Frameworks: Experience with NodeJS, ReactJS, AngularJS, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or other frontend frameworks.
- Database Knowledge: Knowledge of the latest versions of MS SQL Server.
- Linux Skills: Basic familiarity with Linux operational commands.
- Version Control and Tools: Experience with Git, SSO, NPM, Composer, Drush, and the Drupal API.
