Job Description
- Leader Quantity Surveyors in the tender and post contract functions.
- Responsibilities for all cost estimating, cost planning, cost studies, cost monitoring and controlling, measurement.
- Oversee contract administration and manage any variations or adjustments that may arise during the project.
- Risk management and calculation.
- Procurement advice and assistance during the tendering procedures.
- Provide advice on value engineering, suggesting alternative construction methods or materials to reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Assessment of contractor’s claims and advice on contractual disputes.
- Attend project kick off meetings, site meetings & client-consultant meetings.
- Involve from pre-contract stage to post-contract stage
- Monitor all contractual record with clients and vendors are compliant as to protect the company interest at all time.
- Ensure that all financial and contractual activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Building/ Construction Management/ Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.
- At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field
- Good technical experience in all cost management areas; pre-contract, post contract and final account.
- In-depth understanding of construction, materials, pricing, and industry
- Technical knowledge in contracts terms and law
- Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCad, and/or other related computer software.
- Good organization skills, ability to multi-task, and be a team player.
- Development of strong relationships with clients and cross-functional team members.
