Job Description
- Function as the Head of Finance
- Oversee statutory audit of the group ensuring timely resolution of audit queries, filing of statutory accounts
- Prepare investment reports and oversee accounts submitted by the Fund Administrator
- Prepare presentations and papers in support of Board and audit committee meetings, senior leadership meetings and various strategic projects of the group
- Lead the annual budget process for the group
- Review finance processes to ensure strong controls while balancing efficiency
- Treasury optimization
- Support ad-hoc business development projects and initiatives
- Strategic and business planning, communicating with different internal stakeholders
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, CPA)
- At least 7 years of post-graduation experience in relevant field with at least 5 years in supervisory capacity
- Track record in driving process improvements and team development
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation
- A creative problem-solver, hands-on team player with ability to plan, prioritize and manage workload to deliver quality work timely
- Strong analytical skills, with the capacity to manage details but still summarize executive messages to drive actions and improvements
- People management experience
- A self-motivated individual capable of working with a low level of supervision, and ability to drive and implement financial modelling structures and processes
- Advanced user of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Oracle or similar is advantageous.
