We are looking for an experienced OutSystems / Low-Code Business Analyst to act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. In this role, you will gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical solutions using low-code platforms like OutSystems, and ensure that solutions meet business objectives. This position is ideal for a skilled communicator with a strong understanding of both business processes and technical implementations within low-code environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, define, and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for low-code solutions.
- Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend innovative solutions that can be implemented using OutSystems or other low-code platforms.
- Solution Design: Work closely with developers, architects, and other technical team members to design solutions that align with business goals, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact between business teams and the development team, ensuring that business requirements are fully understood and addressed in the technical solution.
- User Stories & Agile Practices: Develop detailed user stories and collaborate with development teams in Agile environments, ensuring that sprints are aligned with business priorities.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in testing and validating the solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and are delivered with the highest quality standards.
- Change Management: Support business teams in the adoption of new systems and solutions by providing clear documentation, training, and post-implementation support.
- Reporting & Analytics: Work with data teams to generate meaningful reports and insights, helping stakeholders understand how low-code solutions drive business outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a business analyst, preferably within software development or low-code environments like OutSystems.
- Education: Degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Low-Code Knowledge: Understanding of low-code platforms, preferably OutSystems, and their capabilities in automating and streamlining business processes.
- Business Process Management: Strong understanding of business process design, optimization, and how to translate them into technical workflows.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments, including familiarity with creating user stories, backlog management, and sprint planning.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to understand technical designs and development processes, with experience in working closely with technical teams.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex technical details into simple business language.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and strategically about solutions.
- Certifications: Certifications in Business Analysis or Agile methodologies are an added advantage.
- Sector Experience: Experience in industries like consulting, banking, insurance, or government will be a plus.
