As a Ophthalmic Technician, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Operate ophthalmic equipment for patient’s eye examination.
- Prepare patients for examinations and surgeries.
- Obtain and record patient medical history.
- Perform lensometry and sit-lamp examination as directed by Ophthalmologist.
- Perform special ophthalmic tests for patients as requested by Ophthalmologist.
- Assist Ophthalmologists during examination/ surgeries.
- Clean, sterilize and maintain surgical instruments.
- Perform front desk duties and attend to walk-in patients.
- Maintain the examination room clean, safe and organized.
Requirements:
- Min. A level/ Nitec
- Nitec in Optician will be added advantage
