Our client, a multi-affiliate and one of the largest asset managers globally, is looking for a motivated Marketing Manager to join their Marketing Communications, APAC Team. This role will play a key part in supporting the design, implementation, and management of marketing strategies, as well as assisting with event planning and execution. This role will engage with the broader marketing team and external partners to drive regional initiatives, campaigns, and events.
The position will work closely with teams across Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, and Australia, as well as with various internal departments (sales, marketing technology, events, media relations, compliance) and external agencies.
Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Management. Lead the planning and execution of proprietary and distributor events in both physical and virtual formats to align with business goals.
- Manage the end-to-end process, covering logistics, content development, onsite coordination, and post-event reporting and evaluation.
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to coordinate seamless event delivery and develop strong vendor relationships.
- Track and manage event budgets, ensuring accuracy in forecasting and reporting.
- Marketing Communications & Campaigns.
- Assist in collecting data from marketing campaigns and conducting competitive market research.
- Partner with the Singapore CEO and sales team to develop strategic marketing initiatives targeting Singapore and Southeast Asia markets.
- Manage and execute integrated marketing programs aligned with the firm's strategic priorities, focusing on brand positioning, thought leadership, and content development.
- Ensure that all marketing and promotional content complies with MAS advertising guidelines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all marketing and communications activities in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Key Competencies & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a passion for marketing and its evolving practices
- At Least 7+ years of relevant experience in Marketing, Campaigns, Communications, Events (online and offline)
- Proactive, goal-oriented attitude with a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders, including the Singapore CEO and sales team.
- Creative thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of developing compelling marketing content.
- In-depth knowledge of institutional and retail/wholesale asset management segments, along with familiarity with MAS advertising regulations.
- Knowledge of French or Mandarin is an advantage as this role will work closely with counterparts in GCR and Europe regions.
- Proficient in MS Office and experienced with CRM tools, online analytics platforms, and Google Ads.
