Job Description
- Lead the harmonization of global accounting policies and reporting practices, ensuring compliance with international standards.
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and other relevant accounting standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Manage strategic financial reviews and provide insights to support decision-making at the executive level.
- Oversee the development and implementation of effective financial controls and processes across all regions.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and achieve organizational goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies within the accounting and reporting functions.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; with CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- At least 15 years of experience in an established Multinational and deep understanding of IFRS and international accounting standards.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience leading regional or global scale transformation projects
- Proficiency in financial reporting software and systems.
