About Our Client
Our client is an established leader in the equipment manufacturing and services industry, embarking on an exciting expansion into the APAC market. As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a skilled Regional Financial Controller to oversee our newly created financial setup in the UK.
Job Description
- Transfer finance and accounting processes from headquarters to the UK, ensuring smooth implementation and compliance.
- Oversee all financial activities, including financial reporting, auditing, internal controls, and cash flow management.
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage regional finance functions, including withholding tax and transfer pricing considerations.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Utilize SAP and Excel for comprehensive financial analysis and reporting.
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior management to drive decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; with professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA or CA)
- Proven experience managing regional finance operations, ideally within the manufacturing or services sector.
- Strong knowledge of withholding tax, transfer pricing, and compliance regulations.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Willingness to travel (10%) for training and team integration.
