Solution Manager, AIK (Asean, India, Korea)

As a leader in the Solution Architect organization, you will focus on developing individual contributors to create technical account plan/strategy and drive sales engagements to technical closure. You will measure effectiveness of tactics in your area of responsibility and create and ensure execution of enablement plans for your team members. You will engage in ongoing coaching for your team and are responsible for performance management, compensation recommendations, and goal setting. You are responsible for recruiting for open positions and keeping an ongoing pipeline of candidates. You are responsible for aligning with your sales/specialist sales counterparts to prioritize accounts, events, and other tactics that will drive revenue in the territory you manage. You will continue to engage with customers to ensure quality execution and consumption. You will work with cross-functional teams such as product management, marketing, and customer success to create a winning strategy for your team.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to coach and give meaningful feedback
  • Ability to define and manage development and growth plan for direct reports
  • Strong operational discipline (Expense Reporting, Activity Entry, Enablement, etc.)
  • Where relevant, strong vertical or industry knowledge
  • Ability to align goals and objectives with peer managers in cross-functional positions
  • Able to organise and run effective interview campaigns for individual contributors
  • Comfortable public speaking at data management events
  • Bilingual skills are considered a plus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Focus is on team and team development
  • Spend 30% of time customer/partner facing
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of 5 or more direct reports
  • Responsible for assigning Solution Architects to opportunities (pooled or rep aligned engagement)
  • Responsible for identifying key skill gaps for each team member and creating an enablement plan to address
  • Understanding partner strategy in the assigned territory
  • Execute on the team hiring plans
  • Active Performance Management and Calibration
  • Implementing an effective and scalable market education strategy.

Education/Experience

  • 1+ year(s) of management experience
  • 5+ years of relevant market experience
  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background is preferred
