THE ROLE
Strategize a sustainable business flow/profit model.
Conduct necessary marketing activities to support, execute and trade the strategies.
Adequate risk management (price and credit) and speculation.
Act as a resource to other Teams in your area of carbon credit and sustainability.
Identify new trading opportunities on the buy side, and appeal to new network of buyers.
Originate, structure and execute proposals and commercial deals on the sell side for various environment attributes from various sources.
Develop and maintain relationships with key market stakeholders, including carbon exchanges, project developers and brokers.
Manage a portfolio of existing customers and building strong, trusted relationships with them.
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to inform trading strategies and decisions that are aligned to the Company’s targets.
Analyze client needs, gather market intelligence and identify industry trends.
Ensure all trading activities adhere to relevant market regulations and standards.
Follow Company’s risk and governance framework to get deals validated.
Collaborate with internal teams, providing market insights and data to drive strategic planning and decision making.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
Experience in business and partnership development, sales, brokering with strong track record of sales, origination and relationship management.
Experience in buy and/or sell-side market for carbon credits.
Knowledge of carbon markets, corporate sustainability and with understanding of market dynamics in the carbon market.
