Job Scope:
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, needs and budget constraints
- Create detailed floor plans and layouts that optimize the functionality
- Generate creative and unique design concepts that align with the client's vision and project objectives
- Present design ideas through mood boards, sketches, and renderings
- Determine cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phase
- Report to General Manager regarding the project design, progress, budget, cost and other issues
- Recommend furniture, lighting, and fixtures that complement the overall design concept and meet the client's requirements
- Coordinate with contractors, worker, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution
- Source and specify materials and furnishings from various suppliers
- Develop and manage project budgets, providing cost estimates for materials, labor, and other project-related expenses
- Identify cost-effective solutions without compromising design quality
- Using creativity to generate new concepts, plan spaces, create designs, and create building plans that can be manufactured
- Project management for renovation works including site supervision and project coordination
- Conduct site visit regularly and respond to all issue encountered
- Communicate design concepts effectively through presentations, using a variety of visual aids such as 2D and 3D renderings
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and new materials through continuous learning and professional development
Job Requirement:
- At least Bachelors’ Degree in Interior Design or related field
- At least 5 years design working experience
- Able work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in design software and tools such as 3Dmax, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch up, 2D and 3D visualization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work under pressure and with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines
- A team player who able to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
- Willingness to travel for site visits
- Willing to travel islandwide with own transportation arrangement
- Willing to work beyond office hours due to client needs or site visits
- Willing to take on new roles and work as the company grows
- 6 days work week
