Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in setting up new companies and managing accounts for various entities, including those in Singapore and Thailand. Experience in commodities trading and tax exposure is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Company Setup: Assist in the formation of new entities, ensuring compliance with local regulations and requirements..
- Accounting Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for multiple entities, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Tax Compliance: Manage tax filings and compliance for all entities, staying updated on tax regulations in Singapore and Thailand, and ensuring optimal tax strategies are implemented.
- Audit Support: Prepare documentation and support external auditors during audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up to date.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance in Singapore.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in setting up companies and banking accounts is essential.
- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
