TEACHER - ENGLISH


Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective English lessons that meet the needs of students at their levels of proficiency.
  • Create and maintain an inviting and safe classroom environment that fosters learning and encourages student participation.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback on academic performance, behavior, and other relevant areas.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure that students receive a well-rounded educational experience that promotes their overall academic success.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to keep up-to-date with the latest teaching techniques, technologies, and best practices in the field of English education.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to keep them informed of student progress and any issues that may arise.
  • Prepare and administer assessments to evaluate student learning and provide feedback to students and parents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student grades, attendance, and other relevant data.
  • Participate in co-curricular activities with students and actively contribute to the committee involved.


Requirements:

  • Teaching qualification attained from institutions, e.g. National Institute of Education, International Baccalaureate, or Cambridge International Education is a must
  • At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in a school environment.
  • Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good classroom management skills with a strong passion for student development
