Job Description:
- Gather feedback from stakeholders and finalize product requirement documents with clarity on objectives and execution details.
- Prepare and archive technical documents such as drawings, specifications, test results etc.
- Coordinate with the electrical team for design verification of electromechanical parts.
- Coordinate with the supply chain such as cost analysis discussions.
- Coordinate with quality assurance such as to ensure critical dimensions are met.
- Coordinate with the production team such as correct assembly instructions and storage.
Qualifications:
- Strong written & verbal communication skills in English and Chinese would be favorable.
- 3 years of experience in Mechanical engineering design would be favorable.
- Review, edit, and update drawings and other technical documents for new products.
- Experienced with using FMEA and DFM to evaluate components and systems.
- Experienced working with various mass manufacturing methods such as casting, CNC, laser-cut, bending, and stamping would be favorable.
- Familiarity with EU automotive homologation standards would be favorable.
- Familiarity with quality requirements such as PPAP/ISO 9001/IATF 16949 would be favorable.
